Family background

Alfred Wadmore Fallick came to Australia from the Isle of Wight, England. He was married to Susannah Walker in 1860. After her death in November 1877, he married Rebecca Woods in 1878 in Goulburn. They were living at Charles Street in Petersham at the time of his death at the age of 44. He and Susannah had several children who survived him. His brother James Fallick served on Newtown Council from 1902-03, and another brother Henry Fallick was on Kogarah Council from 1913-22. Alfred Fallick died on 7 June 1879.

Alfred Fallick was involved in the Newtown Wesleyan Church.

Local government service

Alfred Fallick was an alderman on Newtown Council in 1873-78, representing Kingston Ward. He was mayor in 1878. Fallick retired due to ill health on 14 January 1879.
